Nate Diaz has taken on some of the best fighters in the UFC, but his toughest fight may surprise you...
In 15 years and after 27 fights with the UFC, of which he won 16, Diaz has clashed with some of the formidable names the MMA world has to offer.

He beat 'Cowboy' Donald Cerrone, as well as Anthony Pettis, and suffered defeats at the hands of Jorge Masvidal and current UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards.
But Diaz is arguably best known for becoming the first man in the UFC to beat Conor McGregor, at a time when the Irishman seemed invincible, although he lost in the rematch.
With this in mind, Diaz would be expected to name one of these fighters when asked who was his hardest opponent he came up against, but instead he singled out 'The Dentist' Josh Neer.
He got his nickname because he knocked out the teeth of two consecutive opponents during his amateur career and Neer fought Diaz in 2008 in a bout that was awarded 'Fight of the Night'.

"That was my hardest fight," Diaz told DAZN Boxing.
"My brother [Nick Diaz] had fought him and this guy was a real fighter, he reminded me of my brother kind of, an older OG white guy and he was just not playing around, not happy, not smiling about anything.
"I remember I had to fight him and I walked to the corner and I was like 'this guy wants to kick my a**' because my brother had already beat him.
"When I fought him it was three rounds and I beat him by a decision and I think the way I felt about him helped me win the fight, too, because I was like 'I can't be touched by this guy'.

"I had watched him fight so many times, I had his timing down, slipping punches right underneath the punch, everything was on point. It happened perfect for me, but it was hard."
Nowadays, Diaz is no longer under contract with the UFC and instead he has turned his attention to boxing.
His first professional boxing fight will come on Saturday night when he takes on social media star turned boxer, Jake Paul, in a ten round contest.
Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz is live and exclusive on talkSPORT on Sunday 6 August from 4am
